H10 Palacio Colomera:
A Stay in a Palace-Turned-Hotel in Córdoba, Spain
A budget boutique hotel located in a former palace.
The Location: Situated in the heart of the old town of Córdoba, the H10 Palacio Colomera hotel is the perfect example of a successful adaptive reuse project. New life was given to this building when it was renovated into a hotel from a former palace.
The Corridors: The attention to detail is pristine. From the wood portals and cove lighting to the brushed brass font of the signage, the guestroom entries set the tone for what's to come inside the room.
The Interiors: Classic Andalusian architecture meets modern interior design, and the result is captivating and memorable. The dark wood tones of the new millwork contrast with the lighter, brighter colours used throughout the rest of the palette. The new and modern details pay homage to the existing historical components, enhancing their beauty rather than detracting from it. From the moulding in the guestrooms to the wood detailing in the public spaces, these design elements are used thoughtfully throughout the property.
The Verdict: Go to Córdoba and stay at this hotel. It's not only budget-friendly, but it's centrally located and an easy walk to see all the key sites of the old city. This hotel is the perfect place to make your home base while you stay and explore and enjoy the local scene.
Good to know: 2-Night visit – stayed in Standard King guestroom, did not dine on site. Booked and paid independently.

Let’s take a tour of the guestroom!
Walk with me through the guestroom and you’ll see how the new and modern details pay homage to the existing historical components, enhancing their beauty rather than detracting from it. From the mouldings to the closet hidden in the sleek millwork wall, every detail was thoughtfully considered.
Check out the rooftop view
Whether you go up to the rooftop for a cocktail, a bite, or just for the view – get your camera ready! I especially recommend sunset or golden hour to enhance the 360 degree views of the old city centre.
